Mother Nature’s Love Story.

Preface                                                                               Anika

In a goddess way she lay. Body no more weight than that of a feather. Gently caressing the soil of birth. Hands of fair, lain in the grass with such delicacy, such peacefulness. Hair. Silk of sunbeams. Strewn across earth. Without trouble. Eyes. Closed yet always open. Never lost.

There she lay. In peace, dreaming of the undreamable. Creating. Her thick long dark hair of love lain across the grass around her. A carefree complexion. Flawless. Body. As if part of the ground. Where her hair meats the grass, no contrast. Long dark eyelashes in protection.

She awoke, simply with her delicate body releasing from the soil. Roots releasing.  Transforming goddess like light. Filling the space, ignightng the world around her. With such simplicity yet complexity.

She stepped to the oak tree. Her hand caressed the wise bark as it renewed the age. Revitalizing the life within. A sigh of comfort came from her old friend. As she floated through her wood, glowing in all directions. Her birds, her trees. Her sun. everything  became alive, renewed.

Sudden confusion came to her face. As something was wrong. Not in place yet not out. A new presence. Unknown. Un trusted. Un discovered.

A young man.

With a heavy stare yet soft ahora. Not in place. Why here. Where had he come from. His handsome face as carved by her angles. Set pleasure and trust to her. Comfort. Of that she had never felt. And interest, curiosity. Why she had never seen such a creature.

Something about this young man was inviting. She quickly transformed to aspen. Her leaves on every nerve. She watched. The man walked without purpose. Just with pleasure. His tan young skin illuminated by the light. His dark hair stuck out in attractive angles. His careful ness on the delicate grass with bare feet. Pant leg rolled. Shirt un buttoned with openness to the beauty around him. He walked. With open eyes. Always open. Never lost.

Upon her he came. As man to aspen. His had lay on her bark. A thrill of warmth rushed through her branches. Her eyes met his. Her beauty revealed. Fair bark turned to fair skin, stiffness of branches fell to relaxed hair draped over her shoulders to cover her breasts.

Mother Nature.

The man shocked with magic spark. Beauty overwhelming. Weak at the knees, he stepped back as tree had transformed to a woman. Her eyes met his for first where he could also see. A creature of only fairy tale. Yet there was no tale to be told. Only written. She stepped backward in fright as she had realized her sudden appearance. Against law. He extended his hand and stepped toward her. Her face grew scared as she became overwhelmed with his presence. Handsome. Comfortable. She fled.

Her bare feet softly but quickly ran through her forest. Away from the new creature. How could she have let herself be so irresponsible. No man could see her. Forbidden knowledge of existence was mutual. What was this young man doing in the wood.

Simple.

Living.
